Product Description

IMDM (Iscove's Modified Dulbecco's Medium) is a highly nutritious synthetic medium that is used for rapid proliferation of high density cells. Cells including Jurkat, COS-7 cells, macrophagocytes can be cultured in this medium. IMDM is a modification of DMEM, which contains other amino acids, vitamins, selenium, HEPES and uses nitrate to replace ferric nitrate. Since α-thioglycerol and 2-mercaptoethanol are not in the medium, albumin, transferrin or insulin may be needed to be added when culturing specific cells.

The product is prepared using water-for-injection.
